Scope of Work
Provision of grounds maintenance services to public parks, open spaces, sports grounds and facilities, and maintenance of cemeteries including 225 interments per annum.
Our work for Chester Council covers a wide range of horticultural maintenance tasks to a vast collection of public land, including Chester's 'Jewel in the Crown', Grosvenor Park, which includes formal gardens, Britain in Bloom floral displays and features. The park is heavily used by local residents, office/retail staff during lunch breaks, and tourists to the city, so our team works diligently to ensure this tranquil escape is nothing less than a piece of perfection.
In recognition of our exceptional work we were awarded the 2007 BALI Award for Grounds Maintenance of Public Grounds.
Vale Contract Services played a major part in Chester Council winning the Green Flag Award for Westminster Park in 2010.
