Vale Contract Services was established as a grounds maintenance business in 1992 and became incorporated as a limited company in 1997. The founders of the company, Andrew and Tania Spink, brought extensive knowledge and experience of working in the public sector to the business, having worked in local authorities from 1979 and 1984 respectively. We have a thorough understanding of 'client and contractor' service delivery in grounds maintenance and associated services such as street scene and other cleansing services. We have forged a highly successful business, which excels in the market and understands every facet of the environmental management of parks, cemeteries, highways and housing open spaces.
We currently employ over 200 staff who work from local depots for each of our local authority or housing association contracts. Our large, highly experienced and professional team are keen to share their knowledge with clients, enabling us to deliver expert advice on the provision of high quality, effective and efficient services.
We have proven capability in delivering grounds maintenance services to a wide range of customers, which consists primarily of local authorities, housing associations (RSL's), utilities, airports, power stations and plc construction companies. We currently work in partnership with 17 housing associations, with an annual value of over £4m, and carry out large local authority contracts with annual values of over £1m, at all times focusing on delivering outstanding service and providing best value.
